Robot Academy Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Robot Academy uses, how it is used, and how you can ask for changes or deletion.
Overview
Robot Academy is a family-friendly coding puzzle game published by RydeCraft. You can play with local progress only, or you can choose to link an account so your progress can be restored on other devices.
At the time of this policy, we do not use ads or analytics in the app. If that changes later, we will update this policy and the Play Store data safety information.
What we collect
- Game progress on your device: unlocked levels, stars, tutorials seen, selected settings, sound preference, unlocked skins, and saved puzzle solutions are stored locally on the device so the game can remember your progress.
- Account and cloud-save information: if you choose to link an account, we use your email address, account identifier, and cloud-save progress so you can sign in and restore progress on another device.
- Authentication data: when you sign in or link an email, we process the details needed to verify the request and keep your account secure.
- Technical data: when the app or its services connect, standard technical information may be handled for security and operation, such as connection details, timestamps, and device or app version information.
How we use information
- To save your progress and restore it later.
- To let you sign in and move your save between devices.
- To send verification or sign-in emails.
- To protect the app from abuse and help keep it working reliably.
- To fix bugs and improve the experience.
Who we share information with
We only share information with third-party service providers when it is needed to operate Robot Academy, such as account sign-in, cloud save, and email delivery.
We do not sell personal information.
Children and families
Robot Academy is designed to be family-friendly and approachable for children who are learning to code, with parent or guardian help when account features are used.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information without the proper permission, please contact us so we can review and address the request.
Data retention and deletion
Local progress stays on the device until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
If you link an account, cloud-save data and account information stay in our systems until you request deletion or the account is removed.
To request deletion of an account and its associated cloud data, email privacy@rydecraft.com from the email address linked to the account if possible.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information handled by Robot Academy. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep data protected and use secure connections where applicable.
Your choices
- You can play without linking an email account.
- You can sign out of your account.
- You can clear app data to remove local progress from the device.
- You can request deletion of linked account data by email.
